The Community Soup Kitchen of Goldsboro, Inc.

Statement of Need

As we look to the future, we seek your support and assistance in order to continue our ministry of providing food and improving our services to help educate and motivate low-income individuals, families and the homeless to accept responsibility for their personal welfare.  We need volunteers, food and paper donations and most of all, we need money to sustain our ministry of feeding the hungry.  

Food, Paper and Monetary donations may be delivered to the Soup Kitchen from 8:30am to 1:30pm, Monday thru Saturday.

• The Soup Kitchen is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization which makes contributions tax-deductible.
• This effort involves over 6,750 volunteer hours a year.
• It takes $250 per day to feed 100 hungry people at the soup kitchen.
• Monthly expenses fall between  $8,000 and $9,000.
• Contributors are invited to attend our Annual Meeting.
