The Community Soup Kitchen of Goldsboro, Inc.

Common Volunteering Duties:

Cutting, Slicing, Peeling, etc.

Opening canned foods

Setting-up the serving line and trays

Picking up doughnuts from Krispy Kreme and Mickey's

Picking up bread from Franklin Bakery

Brewing Tea

Clean up before and after lunch is served

Fold towels and aprons

Serve food on the serving line

Help keep the food pantry organized

The duties will be assigned at the Soup Kitchen site but at any time you have the right to refuse a job and request something that is better suited.  All that is asked of our volunteers is to remember the purpose we are here for, to feed the needy in our community and to fulfill our commitment to individuals and families in need.
